Andy is a Gainsborough based artist specialising in realistic portraits and also modern abstract painting. Andy lists his influences as Jasper Johns, Kurt Schwitters and Robert Rauschenberg amongst others. His Pop Art style paintings reflect his passion for music and movies, whereas his abstract work comes from deep in his imagination and explores texture, often using collage and found objects.

 Andy's first solo exhibition 'Screen Stars' was at the Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough, featuring sci-fi and film characters. His work was also featured at the Attic Art Gallery in Bury under the banner 'No more Heroes', depicting pop and rock idols. The City Screen in York was the venue for Andy's second solo exhibition 'Pop goes the Easel' which featured an array of rock bands done in various styles. York has also hosted Andy's work in the Artfulness Gallery on Goodramgate.

A large 8' x4' chalk pastel mural of Andy's was part of the 'Groovy Gainsborough' Riverside festival. Another mural can also be seen in The Cockpit tearooms at Canberra Antiques, Hemswell.

 Andy has also participated in the 20/21 Open Exhibition at Scunthorpe for two consecutive years. Most recently Andy joined the Artslinc Network and participated in the Isle Art Showcase in September 2008.
